Rules for IELM213 lab section

Rule 1: Penalty for late comer in Lab section

1. 15-29 mins late: -5%
2. 30-44 mins late: -10%
3. 45-74 mins late: -20%
4. >74 mins late: -20% + have to apply for make-up lab on another day

Rule 2: Penalty for late hand-in of lab report

1. 1-24hr late:-10%
2. 25-48hr late:-20%
3. more than 48hr late: -15% more for each 24hrs period

Rule 3: Heavy Penalty for copying lab report of other teams

If n reports are found to be exactly the same, the final score will be given by dividing the original score by n.

For example, the original score of report A is 90, and we find that the content of report B is exactly them as A; then both of report A and B will be given 45 (90/2).
